We are guided by our Founder's years of working with indigenous communities to contribute to eliminating poverty, promoting gender equality and access to education and preserving our ecosystems in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
REGENERATIVE AGRICULTURE
Our 100% plant-based ingredients are farmed using regenerative agriculture practices that leave the land richer, more bio-diverse and resilient.
Regenerative agriculture involves using organic farming methods that work with nature rather than against it. It aims to reverse deforestation, restore degraded soil, increase biodiversity, improve water cycles and strengthen the health and vitality of an ecosystems and its communities.

PACKAGING
We are continuously innovating to ensure our products and our packaging is as sustainable as possible. We maximise our use of plant-based materials from regenerative agriculture that are fully biodegradable and upcycled where possible.

We minimize the use of single-use plastic across our range whenever possible.

Repurpose
Design our packaging to repurpose by using boxes designed as ‘keepsake boxes’ to keep life’s little things again and again.

Compost
We are proud to be the first company in Ireland and one of the first in the world to use innovative mycelium packaging which is compostable at-home within 45 days.

Recyclable
All our packaging is fully recyclable.

100% of our shipping boxes are made from recycled content.

90% of primary packaging by weight is glass — a renewable and recyclable material

Sustainably Harvested and Certified
100% of paper and card packaging is FSC certified from sustainable sources.
PRODUCT
Our products are 100% plant-based and biodegradable so as not to damage our water systems and other ecosystems.

Plant - Based
We use 100% certified natural (By Ecocert COSMOS), plant-based ingredients in all our products.

Biodegradable
We use fully biodegradable ingredients that don’t harm the water system or the land post-use.

Upcycled
We use 30% upcycled materials in our products. These are materials made from plant waste that would otherwise go into landfill that we ‘upcycle’ and transform into our high-performance plant actives like our maracuja and cardoon actives. Read more here.

Processing
No harsh or dangerous chemicals are used in the processing of our ingredients.
Certifications
We are certified organic and certified natural by Eco-cert COSMOS and accredited by The Vegan Society and Cruelty Free International to certify that we stick to the highest organic and ethical standards.
These certifications go much further than just looking at how our ingredients are grown. They also include how we treat our growers, what happens when our ingredients go back into landfill or our waters, ensure we don’t use any endangered plants and guarantees that our packaging is also sustainable.

These accreditations mean third party checks and annual inspections and require us to keep detailed production records and traceability paperwork. It costs more and is more work but we think it’s important.
