Simple, nutritional Broth Recipe to Boost Immune Function


In this weeks wellness episode we're delighted to feature a delicious immune boosting broth recipe created by the team at Sadie's Kitchen.
This is a simple and nutritious recipe rich in amino acids, the building blocks for collagen production which helps your skin maintain its youthful appearance. Amino acids also help to boost your gut and immune function.

• 15g butter
• 1 small onion, chopped
• 3 sticks celery, chopped
• 3 packs (350ml) of Comforting Chicken Bone Broth
• 400ml vegetable stock
• 225g cooked chicken breast, chopped
• 55g rice/glass noodles
• 120g carrots, sliced
• 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
• 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
• Salt and pepper to taste.


  1.  In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt butter.
  2. Cook onion and celery in butter until just tender, 5 minutes.
  3. Pour in chicken and vegetable stocks and stir in chicken, noodles, carrots, basil, oregano, salt and pepper.
  4. Bring to the boil, then reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes before serving. Serves 6
